I Lost 50lbs on Carnivore… Then Gave Up. Here’s Why I’m Starting Again.

After losing 50 lbs earlier this year on carnivore and fasting, I fell off the plan at Easter — and I’ve been trying to find my way back ever since.
In this video I talk about what happened, why I stopped, and why I’m restarting now. No motivational speeches, no “grindset” talk — just the honest reality of trying to rebuild discipline when the drive is gone.
I started at 285 lbs (129 kg / 20 st), dropped to 235 lbs (107 kg / 16 st 11), and have maintained most of it. Today, at 245 lbs (111 kg / 17 st 7), I’m recommitting to the same protocol:
• Carnivore meals on eating days (eggs, smoked salmon, bacon, steak, butter)
• 60-hour fasts with electrolytes and Saxa So-Low salt
• Magnesium Glycinate + D3-K2
• No caffeine or sweeteners
My goal before Christmas is to reach around 175 lbs (79 kg) and to push deeper into ketosis for the metabolic and neural benefits described by Metabolic Mind and Dr Chris Palmer — hoping to improve emotional flatness and energy through neuroplastic repair.
I don’t know if this will fix anything. But I do know I’m giving myself the best chance possible.
No shortcuts, no hacks — just the fundamentals: diet, fasting, sleep, exercise, finances, social connection.
