Steps:
1 Split Blender model into sections (below 100k verts, below 32 textures each) each one should have base image name matching the texture name
2 Assign each section to an empty in a separate Blender collection
3 Export each section with SFM Source Tools (SMD, DMX, QC, etc.)
4 Compile models via Crowbar to same usermod folder 1 minute
5 Batch convert textures to .VTF and generate .VMT using VTFEdit
6 In VMT files, replace "LightmappedGeneric" → "VertexlitGeneric"
7 Add additional VMT properties (e.g., $phong, $bumpmap)
