Here in Eastern Europe, we love to cook and eat traditional Slavic dishes. One of the most famous is borscht – a rich, flavorful beetroot soup. Or as my granddaughter calls it, “pink goulash” 😄. This dish is as versatile as the kitchens it’s made in, and today, I’m sharing my special version with a delicious pork stew that adds a unique twist to this classic soup.
What you’ll need:
4-5 beetroots
1 smaller white cabbage
3-4 carrots
1-2 parsley roots
1 celery root
5-6 potatoes
salt
bay leaves
ground black pepper
ground cumin
oil
flour
2dl heavy cream
pork stew (*recipe coming soon!)
