Hagui Cardona didn’t always see college in his future, but his journey led him from Honduras to SHSU, where he found purpose, community, and a path to leadership. After earning his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with minors in legal studies and political science, Hagui dove into campus life through the Honors College, Alpha Phi Sigma, Model United Nations, and the Pre-Law Society. Now a graduate student and soon-to-be U.S. Army officer, he’s living proof that the right environment can unlock your potential.
