Accompanied by my Friend and a fellow Railfan, SOMJIT SANYAL, I set out to capture and explore the Last Remaining Meter Guage Sections of the North Eastern Railways. The sections which were operational during our visit were Shahjahanpur - Pilibhit - Mailani - Bahraich. Close to the Nepal Border, these sections are counting their last days as the MG Era is slowly fading away from our country.
This was my First leg of this MG Exploration Trip where I took the MG Fast Passenger from Shahjahanpur to Pilibhit.
