Many people in Malaysia were skeptical about the various COVID-19 vaccines, worried about the side and after effects from taking it. The special needs community were somewhat concern and hesitant as well. For us, we could not wait to have Adam vaccinate ASAP. We have been waiting in line since March this year after registering him with MySejahtera. It’s such a relief to finally receive an appointment. What made it even better was Adam got his jab in the car on a “Drive Through” program initiated by OKU Sentral, an NGO in Malaysia looking after the interest of special needs community. We are truly grateful and thank everyone who has contributed and made this possible. The program has helped my son and many individuals in the special needs community which otherwise would have been more challenging and stressful to vaccinate.
