The GPDP Discipline-specific LNG Trainings conducted from March-April 2022 served as introductory courses on the various disciplines critical to the Philippine Downstream Natural Gas Industry (PDNGI) value chain. The trainings, which were conducted by GPDP’s Technical Experts, included courses on Process Safety and Occupational Health; Mechanical Equipment/Facilities Engineering; Environmental Considerations; Marine Engineering; Coastal and Port Engineering; and Electrical and Fire Explosion Safety.
The Process Safety and Occupational Health course included the following topics:
Safety aspect of managing risk of LNG product(s) and LNG related process and operations from design (pre- construction) activities to commissioning, and operations.
-Occupational health management, encompassing good working condition and risk of damage to lives and properties
