The GPDP Discipline-specific LNG Trainings conducted from March-April 2022 served as introductory courses on the various disciplines critical to the Philippine Downstream Natural Gas Industry (PDNGI) value chain. The trainings, which were conducted by GPDP’s Technical Experts, included courses on Process Safety and Occupational Health; Mechanical Equipment/Facilities Engineering; Environmental Considerations; Marine Engineering; Coastal and Port Engineering; and Electrical and Fire Explosion Safety.
The Mechanical Equipment/Facilities course included the following topics:
-Overview of the major processes and associated standard mechanical equipment in the value chain of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry.
-Background for the international standards applied to the LNG industry, particularly on the main mechanical equipment and support facilities of the receiving and regasification links of the LNG value chain.
