Development teams and cultural organisations in general are under-resourced and time-poor, and a tool that can enable more funding applications to be submitted may seem like a positive thing. However, used incorrectly, AI could actually negatively impact the likelihood of gaining the funding that organisations really need and even have wider implications for the sector.

In this session, we’ll aim to explore and unravel some of the ways cultural organisations could be using these tools, as well as exploring some of the things we should all be wary of. Whether your team is already using AI or you are not sure where to start, this session will be invaluable. With a panel that includes Helen Cave, Executive Administrator of the Backstage Trust, and Sarah Miguel, Director of Fundraising & Marketing at the LGBT Foundation, we will discuss how AI is impacting funder processes and how they make decisions on grants with AI in mind.

Knowing how to implement AI tools to increase income, while making sure their use is not jeopardising quality or results, will be of fundamental importance over the next few years.
