Kimchi Fried Rice by Chef Frank

My wife and I had this in a restaurant a few weeks ago and I was disappointed. I had to give it a try. I consider myself an expert cook, but have not had a ton of experience with Korean food. As a chef I and always looking to learn new things. I think it was delicious..I hope you do too.

4 cloves garlic, chopped
6 scallions, sliced (green & white parts separated)
1/4 cup/59 ml soy sauce
1 tbsp/15 g gochujang
1/4 tsp/1.2 g beef soup powder
3 tbsp/42 g toasted sesame oil
vegetable oil as needed
