VEGAN OLIVE CAVIAR
Wet Ingredients:
1 ½ Cup Finely diced Black Olives (about 3 cups whole)
1 ½ tsp Lemon Juice
2 TB Olive Oil
2 TB Minced Garlic Cloves
1 tsp fresh Basil Herb
Dry Ingredients:
½ tsp Thyme
¾ tsp Savory Herb
1/2 tsp Sea Salt (I reduced this from 3/4th tsp)
Dice Olives and place into a bowl to hold until after. In a small skillet sauté the Minced Garlic, Olive oil, Basil, Thyme, and Savory herbs 3 or 4 minutes. Medium to low heat bring to a soft sizzle for a couple minutes, continue stirring during the process. Then removed from the stove and place into the bowl with the black olives, now you will add the salt and the lemon very last. Stir well, place in molds, store in the refrigerator over night and serve the next day. Delicious on crackers or in celery!
