🥭🐟 Mango Fish Curry Recipe (Aam Machhli Curry)
📝 Ingredients:
• Fish pieces (any firm fish / king fish / pomfret) – 500 g
• Raw mango – 1 medium (peeled & chopped)
• Onion – 1 large (finely chopped)
• Tomato – 1 medium (chopped)
• Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
• Green chilies – 2 (slit)
• Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
• Red chili powder – 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
• Coriander powder – 1 tsp
• Cumin powder – ½ tsp
• Garam masala – ½ tsp
• Curry leaves – 8–10
• Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
• Cooking oil – 3 tbsp
• Salt – to taste
• Water – as needed
• Fresh coriander – for garnish

👩🍳 Method:
1. Clean the fish properly. Apply a little salt and turmeric and keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let them crackle.
3. Add curry leaves & green chilies.
4. Add chopped onions and sauté till golden.
5. Add ginger-garlic paste, cook till raw smell goes away.
6. Add tomatoes and cook until oil separates.
7. Add turmeric, red chili, coriander powder, cumin powder & salt. Mix well.
8. Add chopped raw mango and cook for 2–3 minutes.
9. Add water and let it boil until mango becomes soft.
10. Gently add fish pieces. Cover and cook on low flame for 8–10 minutes.
11. Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander.
12. Switch off heat – don’t overcook the fish.
