Hey folks, it’s Larry with your Monday rate update! Last week’s jobs report shook things up, pushing unemployment to 4.3% and dropping interest rates.
What is looking like a sure-fire US recession could become a global recession. There are many forces at play besides the Jobs Report from Friday.
This week is quieter on the economic news front with rates for a 30-year fixed mortgage at6.4%, and VA loans around 6.12%. Great news for refinancing: clients are seeing rates between 5% and 5.5%. If your rate is above 6%, now’s the time to act!
