At the northern edge of Bengaluru, where the city gives way to the wild slopes of Nandi Hills, Villa Soham nestles gently into the landscape. Designed in quiet deference to context and topography, the house feels less built and more grown, with boulders and natural contours seamlessly integrated into its gardens and interiors.

The plan unfolds in layered experiences framing the horizon uniquely. Sculpted roofs, a central oculus, and low-slung living spaces echo the terrain, while a central staircase draws southern light and guides movement gracefully through the home.

Materiality strengthens the bond with nature: lime plaster walls, timber elements, and stone floors create a tactile rhythm. Every transition expands the senses, inviting occupants to engage fully with the landscape. Villa Soham is architecture that grows from the earth, meditating on light, form, and horizon.
