New to working with a financial advisor and meeting with an advisor for the first time?
Whether you've already booked a meeting or you're just thinking about meeting with a financial advisor for the first time, Walkner Condon's Mitch DeWitt, a Certified Financial Planner™, walks you through the topics you'll cover and things to expect in an initial meeting with a financial advisor. Though you don't need to have your bank and financial statements on hand, it's helpful to have a general lay of your financial land heading into the meeting along with a few goals and questions.
In addition to learning more about you and your financial hopes and concerns, we'll also cover things you should know about our firm – and financial advisory firms in general, if you're new to working with an advisor. That includes things like how we're structured and the other structures out there, our status as fiduciaries for all of our clients, and our philosophy.
We're committed to being transparent and helping educate those we work with, so we want you to know ahead of time that we welcome questions before, during, and after the introductory meeting. So don't hesitate to reach out before the meeting, or stop us during it, if you'd like something explained or clarified. And, you can always send us an email at info@walknercondon.com.
