Bronco Truck Camper goes to Baja 2024

This is a short video of our travels in Baja with our 1996 Ford Bronco with a pop-up truck camper. Our stay there was from February 1st through mid March of 2024. This was our first visit to Baja. We really enjoyed the country, its people and beautiful beaches. Some beaches had regular visits from vendors from whom we bought fish, vegetables, bread, juices, and souvenirs. 😊 We had no issues finding fuel, water and food. Unlike the many warnings we never got sick buying goods out of the back of vendor vehicles. The military check points were pleasant and not once was our rig searched. We carried spare fuel on our trailer but never needed it. We made it a point to fill up even when half full.

This first trip to Baja was to familiarize ourselves with Baja and see some of the areas most often visited. It was also a test of our rig which only needed minor repairs to the trailer we were pulling, from some of the harsh (off)road conditions.
On our next visit we plan to slow down and explore more of the small towns and its people. We will also look for beaches less traveled as we did experience crowded beaches at those areas recommended online or found on iOverlander.
