"Music and Dance of the Silk Road" is adapted from a folk song from the Western Regions of China and presented here as a rondo piece. The Silk Road covers a huge expanse, passing through areas with diverse cultures inhabited by people of various ethnicities and countries. This piece depicts the multi-faceted scenes of exotic cultures and joyous festivities that can be found along the Silk Road through vivid representations of songs and dances.
