These are definitely going to make it into your regular rotation! These Korean Style meatballs are punchy and a flavour BOMB! make em as an entree, main meal with rice, chuck em in wrap a with an epic slaw.... whatever! Sure to be a hit.
For the meatballs:
500g ground pork
500g ground beef
1tb Gochujang Korean red pepper paste
Small red onion or cup of green onion
3tbs soy sauce
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Thumb size piece ginger, finely chopped
Cracked pepper
For the sauce:
2 cloves garlic, chopped
3-4 tbs rice vinegar
3tbs soy sauce
1tsp gochujang
1tbs hoisin
3 tbs honey
3 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs sriracha
1 tbs kecap manis
Few drops sesame oil
1/4 cup water
1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with 1-2 tsp water)
Add more water or more cornstarch slurry if it needs to be thicker or thinner
Dress with sesame seeds and green onion or chives.
