Interview with a World War II B-17 pilot at age 97 from Maryland. He was shot down over Germany on Christmas Eve 1944 and held prisoner of war until Spring 1945. The interview is done by his son and takes you through his enlistment in the Army, flight training, flying to England and his time doing bombing missions over Germany until the day he returned home to parents who were not expecting him. The interview is a little over 2 hours long.
