I set off on a solo journey through France and Italy, unsure of where it will lead me. I take it day by day, mostly trying to escape the weather. This video series captures my adventure into the unknown.

I’m focused on slowing down and fully embracing each place I visit, living in the present as much as I can. With no set plan, I began my travels in early May. The journey started with a few sunny days before the rain came pouring down, so I decided to head further south in search of sunshine. My destination is open-ended, but my goal is to spend as much time off-road as possible, following the tracks wherever they take me.

I left home feeling down after a long, tough winter and struggling with depression. But within a few days on the road, I found myself smiling again. In a way, this trip became a way to heal. Even though the weather was cold and wet at first, the more I drove, the better I began to feel. Sitting atop a mountain, taking in the views, and listening to the wind and birds around me—it’s a peaceful experience I’ll never grow tired of.
