Nablus, Mt Gerizim and Sebastia, with David Dawoud Manarious

Our journey today takes us to Nablus where we will visit the site of Jacob's Well, where Jesus met the Samaritan woman. It is located opposite Tel Balata, the Biblical site of Shechem, mentioned in the book of Genesis.

We drive up to Mt Gerizim and learn about the Samaritans who still live there til this day.

We conclude our visit with Sebastia, an ancient Royal city in Samaria where we visit the Ivory Palace and the Tomb of John the Baptist.

David (Dawoud) Manarious, a licensed tour guide, was born in Jerusalem and lives in the Old City by the roof of the Holy Sepulchre Church within the Coptic complex (9th station of the Cross).

A graduate of History and Political science from Russia, David has also studied Biblical Archaeology in the Flagellation, Biblical studies academy with a specialty in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

David also holds the post of sub Dragoman of the Coptic Church in the Holy Land.
