How old is too old to start (rapping)?

Seen this question recently.

It doesn’t really make sense.

What people think about:
Looking at examples of people getting famous early that probably started early (10 to 20)
Accounting for the amount of time developing a new skill at a high level truly takes
Generally, more commitments as you get older

It doesn’t matter though. What’s your goal? How much time do you want to put into it? Is that time going to be dedicated practice?

Started at 18, and sort of worked at it. There’s still plenty of room for me to grow.

I started programming at 25, got into Google 15 months later.

Age is less relevant here. If it was something like professional top-level sports, it might be a different conversation - but these are mental skills.
