To those who have seen the videos of my tribute to The Strollers, Charles needs no introduction here. This is Side 2 of the #1 hit single "Everything's Gonna Be Fine" which Charles did with The Strollers in 1972.
This song is very meaningful as Charles has already a vision of brotherhood and racial indiscrimination in the 70's. Sad we are not even halfway there yet.
Lyrics
Little boy in Moscow - little girl in Maine
It doesn't matter where you're born - you're really just the same
You may live in Africa or famous London town
You may be coloured black or white or any shade of brown.
You could have been a Chinese girl - it's funny but it's true
And there's a little Chinese girl who could be just like you
You could have been an Indian and worn an Indian ring
And there's a little Indian who could have been a king
There are no borders in the sky
Little children you must learn to fly
There are no borders in the sky
Little children you must learn to fly
Little boy in Moscow - little girl in Maine
Why don't you help each other and heal each other's pain?
It isn't hard to see that we are brothers from our birth
And if we remember this we'll bring peace to the earth
