We are delighted to present our Sattriya duet dance performance by Debajit Chutia and Arnabjyoti Mohan, performed at the 19th Devdasi International Dance Festival and Nava Umesha Talent Hunt – 2025.
Our presentation was divided into two parts:
✨ First Part – Shuddha Nritya (Jhumura Nritya)
This section showcased Jhumura Nritya, a form of Shuddha Nritya in the Sattriya tradition, focusing purely on rhythm, posture, and movement. There was no storytelling or abhinaya—only the essence of pure classical dance.
✨ Second Part – Abhinaya
In the second section, we attempted to portray some well-known episodes from the life of Lord Krishna through abhinaya, expressing emotions, devotion, and grace.
