Ingredients (सामग्री) :
🧈 Makhniya Biscuit / Surati Bakery Style Biscuit
75 gm Unsalted Butter (बिना नमक वाला मक्खन)
70 gm Powdered Sugar (पिसी हुई चीनी)
25 gm Milk Powder (मिल्क पाउडर)
10 gm Custard Powder (कस्टर्ड पाउडर)
2 tsp Baking Powder (बेकिंग पाउडर)
2 tsp Salt (नमक)
20 ml Water (पानी)
45 gm Refined Oil (रिफाइंड तेल)
200 gm Maida (मैदा)
25 gm Rawa / Sooji (रवा / सूजी)
2 tsp Whole Jeera (साबुत जीरा)
Method :
🧈 Step 1: Prepare the Base Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine butter and powdered sugar (daleli khand).
Add milk powder, custard powder, and baking powder. Mix everything well using a spatula.
🥣 Step 2: Combine Liquid Ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix salt and water.
Gradually add this saltwater mixture into the batter in two batches, mixing well each time.
🛢️ Step 3: Final Dough Preparation
Add oil and mix it in.
Now sieve in maida (all-purpose flour) and mix everything properly.
Finally, add jeera (cumin seeds) and knead into a soft dough.
❄️ Step 4: Resting the Dough
Cover the dough with cling wrap and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes.
🔥 Step 5: Shaping & Baking
Preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 22g portions, shape into biscuits, and arrange on a baking tray.
Bake at 170°C for 20 to 30 minutes, or until light golden.
Let them cool completely and store in an airtight container.
