Touch The Upgrades, Boost Up Program BrailleNote Touch Plus 18 Unboxing And Setup

In March 2016, Humanware introduced a new and innovative device, the BrailleNote Touch. It was the successor to the BrailleNote Apex, and introduced lots of exciting changes. It ran Android 4.4 Kit Kat, and had a touch screen which could be used to control the device using a feature called Touch Braille. I received mine in August 2016.
In February of this year, Humanware introduced the BrailleNote Touch Plus, which improves upon the original model. Some of the upgrades include an upgraded processor, doubled ram from 2gb to 4gb, and a move to Android 8.1 Orio. After giving it a lot of thought, I decided to take advantage of the BrailleNote Touch Boost Up Program. What happens is that you request and Purchase the Boost Up, they call you to schedule a UPS pickup or have them send you a shipping label, and you then send your unit to Humanware. They then perform the hardware upgrades on your unit and send it back to you. The whole process took about ten days for me. That leads us to this video.
Yesterday August 29, 2019, I received my upgraded BrailleNote Touch Plus in the mail. Join me as I unbox and set up the BrailleNote.
