Blue Mountain & Reading 425 in regular Hamburg-Temple service, and on the first steam runs on the then-new Reading Blue Mountain & Northern. This was an all-day Santa Claus trip starting with an empty coaching stock move from Temple to West Cressona. They then picked up the Budd Cars and proceeded to Minersville, Pottsville/Mt. Carbon and Tamaqua.
