How much does a bikes geometry affect its handling? Can it have a big impact on your overall speed? Si took a visit to The Bicycle Academy to talk with their resident expert Tom and to compare two of Si's current bikes.

Si took both his Canyon Aeroad and his Trek Domane RSL to measure up how they compare in geometry and how this equates to their ride feel. Bottom bracket drop, chainstay length and wheelbase all affect how a bike rides. We reached out to a friend of the channel, Tom, in order to find out what people should look out for in frame geometry for their desired ride characterisitics.
