To improve the color fastness of natural dyed batik, Prof Heo introduces the traditional dyeing method of Korea, using tannin extracted from fresh persimmon juice. Where the tannin itself can be used as dyes with variety of brown color as results, tannin can also be color fixator which can significantly improve the color fastness of batik.
