are you happy | rinharu [fs1 spoilers]

hello it's been a hot minute hasn't it? well let's just say life gets crazy, so unfortunately i haven't had much time or energy to edit except mep parts here and there or talk to anyone online lately. thankfully, i'm a little more adjusted than i was a few months ago, and i had a bit of time to myself and decided to watch free the final stroke part 2 and lemme say without spoilers, i died as a rinharu fan. it was too much for me to handle. and then i decided to rewatch fs pt 1 again and felt angsty. and i had been wanting to edit this song to something for awhile, so with all my rinharu filled emotions, i decided, let's go back to my roots. i haven't edited a rinharu amv in awhileeeee, so this felt fitting too. but this video doesn't contain any fs2 because i want to wait a bit for more people to watch it before i go editing it and i want to give that movie a huge emphasis in whatever amv i decide. but anyway i wanted to edit fs1 at some point and HERE WE GO.

i realized i never really got to talk about how i felt about fs1 either but oh man. oh man the rinharu angst was beautiful bahahhahahha there were too many callbacks n parallels for me to process and wow rinharu are really that gay huh. HUH. i hate them. they've been living in my brain rent free for the last week now (no matter what i'm hyperfixated on, rinharu seems to come back at least once a year)

but yeah i decided to quickly edit this during the holidays before i would have less time to edit again, and i like how i was able to finish this for the new year :) i really enjoyed hurting myself while editing this LOL editing this honestly messed me up bc wow rinharu rlly be so dramatic ?!!?! but yeah i also wanted to keep this simple so i did minimal raw transitions and typography :) really wanted to just simmer on the scenes and emotions of this. the pov is kinda all over the place, the first half is supposed to be rin's pov and then second is haru's, but i'm not sure if i really kept to that either. ANYWAY hope you all enjoy the angsty feels :)

uploads are gonna be pretty infrequent (not that they were frequent to begin with) from here on out since i’ve been working but i’ll try to edit once in awhile whenever inspiration strikes :)
