Taranga Pallavi
Pallavi is a lyrical elaboration of rhythmic, melodic and movement themes. It is considered the most graceful and lyrical form of "pure" or abstract dance in the Odissi repertoire. Taranga Pallavi conveys the undercurrent mood of waves on the sea as the unique torso movements of Odissi flow throughout the dance like water breaking on the shore
