What ingredients should I have on hand for baking?

Here is a list of baking ingredients that you can store in your pantry. With these ingredients on hand, you’ll be able to create many delicious recipes.
Dry Ingredients
1) All-Purpose Flour. You can use this type of flour for cookies, rolls, muffins, and some cakes.
2) Basic Leavening Products: Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Active Dry Yeast
3) Dry Sugars: Granulated Sugar, Confectioner Sugar, Light Brown Sugar, and Raw Sugar.
4) Liquid Sugars: Honey, Molasses, Agave and Maple Syrup. Honey is the most commonly used of the liquid sugars, but if you have a preference for the flavor in one of the other ones, have it on hand
5) Salt: Granulated Table Salt. Sea salt is a healthier option but often has larger granules and kosher salt is useful for some recipes.
6) Cocoa: Natural Cocoa is the most commonly used cocoa in baking.
Wet Ingredients
1) Dairy: Milk Whole milk offers a better flavor but you can often use lower fat milk as well.
2) Fats: Unsalted Butter, Shortening, Canola oil. Of the vegetable oils, Canola oil is a good option because it has a mild flavor, which doesn’t affect the taste of your baked good.
3) Extracts: Natural Vanilla Extract. Almond extract is also a nice flavor to have on hand.
4) Spices: Ground Cinnamon, Clove, All Spice, and Ginger
5) Chocolate: Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
