I’m sharing how to make creamy, classic Basque cheesecake. You can make this gluten-free cheesecake in very simple steps by whisking the ingredients in a bowl. The most crucial part of making Basque cheesecake is the baking time. I’m guiding you through the tips as well as other important troubleshooting tips to make it successfully at home.
📌 Ingredients For Basque Cheesecake
For a 6-inch (15cm) pan
• Granulated sugar: 100g (1/2 cup)
• Salt: 1/8 tsp
• Cornstarch: 17g (2 Tbsp)
• Lemon zest: 1/2 lemon
• Cream cheese: 450g (2 8-oz blocks)
• Egg: 150g (3 eggs)
• Heavy cream (gently warm like a bath): 240g (1 cup)
• Lemon juice: 2 tsp
• Vanilla extract: 1/2 tsp
460F/237C (Preheated) for about 30 minutes *Adjust the time and temperature depending on the oven.
