The U.S. Navy has released photos of a readiness exercise involving its air forces in the Indian Ocean, as tensions with Iran surge over crackdown on protests and riots. The photos showed various images of equipment, including a Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet landing on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln last week. Tension has spiked in the wake of a brutal crackdown on nationwide protests that saw thousands of people killed and tens of thousands arrested in Iran. Trump had threatened military action if Iran continued to kill peaceful protesters or carried out mass executions of those detained. Watch the video for more.
