INGREDIENTS:-
1/2Kg ChickpeaGreens/chana saag cleaned washed and chopped
300gm Spinich/palak Cleaned washed and chopped
200gm Pigweed/bathua cleaned washed and chopped
2 Green chilli
1tsp coriander powder
1tsp Turmeric powder
1tsp Redchilli powder spicy
1tsp salt
Take a cooker add 1glass of water in that add all the above ingradients cover the lid and give 4 whistles once it cools then open the lid and keep one mashing all the cooked leaves and add
1tbsp Chickpea flour
2tbsp 2tbsp Makki flour
Mix it well so that no lump s should be formed. cook on low flame to cook the flour with saag.
Add hot water to bring proper consistency.
TEMPERING:
2 onion chopped finely
2 tomato chopped finely
3tbsp Garlic Green chilli ginger paste
1cup Mutter
1tsp Turmeric powder
1tbsp Kashmiri red chilli
1tsp coriander powder
salt as per taste.
Take a frying pan add 4tbsp Mustered oil once oil heats then add
1/4tsp Asafoetida
1tsp Cumin seed
2 Redchilli whole broken
once it spluter then
Add chopped onion saute till it become red now
Add Ginger garlic Green chilli paste saute for 1minute then
Add Green Peas and saute till it is 1/2done now
Add Tomato chopped, salt cook till it become soft now
Add Turmeric powder
Kashmiri red chilli powder
coriander powder
Cook the masala till it releases oil then
Add the tempering in the saag mix it well cook the whole saag on high flame for 2minutes .
Serve hot with makke ki roti and chane ka saag with reddish.
