Join Mindful Movement Teacher Edie for a mindfulness practice called Scarf Dancing! Find a lightweight scarf or ribbon, choose your favorite music, and find a comfortable place (standing or sitting) to move freely. Scarf Dancing gives you the opportunity to move your body in ways that you might not typically move each day. It also invites you to use your creativity and imagination as you play with your scarf, practice active listening, and develop fine motor skills while enhancing eye-hand coordination. Take a break and move in a way you don’t typically move! As with any physical activity, please stop if you have a sensation of pain or discomfort. Let us know how you feel afterwards!
