Arizona Detour| Solo RV Travel and Adventure GPS

The shortest driving day of my early 2025 trip west turns into the longest driving day with a 12-hour detour into a remote region of Arizona north and east of Phoenix. A pop up fire closed my planned route. The drive along the Tonto National Forest and Roosevelt Lake is incredibly scenic and makes up for losing hours of driving time.
