The Tinnitus Transformer is a noise-masking soundscape featuring three boosted frequencies within a wide static spectrum of 700 Hz to 20 kHz. Based on what many viewers have reported listening to, I have specifically selected and boosted 6,000 Hz, 9,000 Hz, and 12,000 Hz for this session.

The Strategy: This noise-masking technique aims for a reduction in perception—perhaps by 30%—by introducing these frequencies at a lower volume than your "T" sound. By providing the mind with a new, external sound to focus on, it can effectively distract itself from the internal tinnitus perception.

When the newly introduced masking sound is close in frequency to your own "T" sound, the mind can often "let go" of the internal sound to a degree. Listening to noise-masking for 30-60 minutes daily may help reduce the perceived intensity over the course of a few weeks.
