Ninetimes created a fully animated Measurement While Drilling (MWD) methods video for use in the Federal Highway Administration’s Advanced Geotechnical Methods in Exploration Series (A-GaME). The below ground MWD animation is the fifth in the A-GaME series. The movie short presents a subsurface exploration technique that provides continuous, real-time monitoring and recording of data during the drilling process.
The Ninetimes team, working as a subcontractor to GEI Consultants, Inc. and The Karol Company, provided realistic illustration, 3D modeling, motion graphics, visual effects and voice-over audio. Ninetimes worked wholly from scripts and narrative direction provided by GEI and The Karol Company.
