Today, football boots are getting more and more expensive - but there's actually a reason for that; with the ever-growing technology and innovation being pushed every day, brands such as Nike, Adidas, PUMA, Under Armour, New Balance, Umbro and Mizuno all post millions and millions into research and development. In turn, that means a higher production cost on the boots which the brands need to recoup on higher boot prices. Another factor is that expensive boots have also become a fashion statement - wearing the best, newewst and most exclusive boots like the Nike Hypervenom 3 or the Nike Mercurial Superfly 5 or even the laceless Adidas ACE 17+ Purecontrol will show how well you're doing for yourself, which underlines the fact that football boots are very much fashion objects today as well.
This of course doesn't mean that slightly less expensive boots like the Nike Hypervenom Phelon aren't good boots - they usually are very, very good, but they might not necessarily be packed to the brim with the latest and most innovative (and thus expensive) innovations and technologies.
