Battle to Crowborough: Hills, Dual Carriageways & Leg Pain | Travelsonabike2 S25 E25 🤕

Day 4 of the tour sees me heading for the high town of Crowborough, East Sussex! (Travelsonabike2 S25 E25).

After a less-than-ideal start at the campsite [00:00:00], I hit the road, which quickly turns into a battle against fast dual carriageways and relentless hills on a very hot day [00:03:27]. I take a necessary break for a fantastic bacon butty at Fat Boys Catering [00:08:42] before pushing through Sevenoaks and into the high-altitude roads. The hills are taking their toll—I’m bored with them [00:17:42] and struggling with leg pain for the last hour [00:18:44]. I finally arrive in Crowborough, the home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and set up camp, ditching the stove for easy "picky bits"!
