Pioneer Public High School Kargil Celebrates Annual Day with Enthusiasm

Pioneer Public High School Kargil celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from students, parents, and the school fraternity.

Councillor Town Haji Mohammad Abass Adulpa graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Nominated Councillor Hakima Khatoon attended as the Guest of Honour. Principal DIET Kargil joined as the Special Guest.

Several dignitaries were present, including Chairman of the Management Committee Haji Sidiq Wani, President Ahlae Sunnat Wal Jamaat Kargil Khalid Ghulam Mohammad, Vice President Salim Wani, Educationist and Advisor Haji Murtaza Khalili, parents, and students.

Students presented colourful cultural performances, Naat recitations, and an impactful skit on the abuses and misuse of social media, which received wide appreciation.

A major highlight of the event was the release of the school’s first magazine “Minduk”, marking a significant step in showcasing students’ creativity and academic achievements.

In his address, Councillor Town Haji Mohammad Abass said that private institutions like Pioneer Public High School play a vital role in shaping the educational landscape of Kargil. He noted that the school has produced some of the finest officers and personalities, including KAS officers, KPS officers, doctors, engineers, assistant professors, and many other professionals serving the district with distinction. He praised Ahlae Sunnat Wal Jamaat Kargil for their investment in the education sector and assured full support.

Guest of Honour Hakima Khatoon announced that she would donate computers to the school to strengthen digital learning. She commended the efforts of Ahlae Sunnat Wal Jamaat and the school’s management committee.

Later, the guests distributed prizes and mementoes among meritorious students.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Khushboo Joshi stated that the school is progressing steadily with a strong focus on the New Education Policy (NEP) and the overall improvement of the district’s educational ecosystem.
