Exploring Everglades City & Hidden Gems in Southwest Florida | Wild Alligators, Delicious Food, & Scenic Stops

Join us as we take a scenic drive to one of our favorite hidden gems in Southwest Florida—Everglades City! 🐊 On this adventure, we initially planned to eat at the famous Wildman’s Pizza, Pasta & Pythons, but things didn’t go as expected! Instead, we went back to our local favorite—Triad Seafood Market & Cafe, where we enjoyed a fantastic meal. It’s now officially in our @CarryUsAway Hall of Fame for the best hidden gems!

As we made our way back, we stumbled upon the Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk in the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park, right off Tamiami Trail. This beautiful boardwalk led us to a jaw-dropping encounter with wild alligators—our first up-close experience with these incredible creatures in their natural habitat! 🐊✨

We also made a quick stop at Gators' Crossroads Restaurant & Bar, a cozy dive spot where we’ll definitely be returning for a casual bite next time.
