This week we are going to show you how you can make some great ribs on a Weber Kettle! You don't need an expensive pit to make great BBQ!
Ingredients
1. St. Louis Cut Spare Ribs
2. Oil (optional)
3. Favorite All Purpose Rub
4. Favorite BBQ Rub ( Sweet & Savory O.G. will be out soon!)
5. Favorite BBQ Sauce
6. Killer Hogs Vinegar Sauce
Directions
1. Trim an excess fat or hanging meat from ribs and remove membrane
2. Starting with the backside, put down light coat of oil and season lightly with All Purpose Rub (we used Sweet & Savory Wake Up Call) and a medium coat of BBQ Rub (we used Sweet & Savory O.G.)
3. Let sit 30-60 min
4. Fire up Weber Kettle using the snake method. I like to put an aluminum pan with liquid in the middle.
5. Light from one side and scatter your favorite wood over the coals. Once coals are lit, adjust vents so that the temperature is between 275*-300*
6. Place ribs in the middle and cook for approx 2 hours or until you have the color you want. You may want to rotate the ribs every 45 min to an hour for even cooking.
7. Once you have great color, wrap in foil, meat side down in Killer Hogs Vinegar Sauce. Place back on the pit.
8. Continue cooking until tender (approx 205*-207*)
9. Once tender let rest for 30 min
10. Sauce, slice and enjoy!
