Day 8 of our Walt Disney World & Disney Cruise Line December 2023 vlog series!
Today is Magic Kingdom day! I am in an Ariel (The Little Mermaid) bound complete with ears and Loungefly backpack.
First sight of Cinderella Castle walking down Main Street USA and she is as beautiful as ever. We got to see a show with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse before heading for our dining reservation at the Crystal Palace: Dine in Victorian splendor in this greenhouse-inspired Crystal Palace, idyllically set on Main Street, U.S.A. Join Winnie the Pooh and friends for a whimsical all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet. We had breakfast and its character dining with Winnie the Pooh and friends.
First we saw Tigger and we had to bounce with him, bouncing is what Tigger's do best! :D Eeyore then came to see us, he looked so sad! Winnie the Pooh came round and we did some stretches to get ready to eat all the yummy food Lastly we got to see Pigelt who was feeling very brave today!
After breakfast we headed to Fantasyland to go to Meet Ariel at Her Grotto. "Venture into a seaside grotto, where you’ll find Ariel among her treasures. She has gadgets and gizmos aplenty, and she’s always happy to make new friends—especially human ones."
She was amazing and I asked her to sign my Little Mermaid Loungefly backpack and she did. We talked about our mermaid tails and she invited me down to Atlantica for a concert!
First attraction of the day was the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train with Snow White. Its such a fun ride and you get to go throug hthe mines too!
Over to tomorrowland and the Peoplemover, it gives an amazing view of Cinderella castle and within other rides like Space Mountain too.
We headed over to the Haunted Mansion before going on the Jungle Cruise - which turns into the Jingle Cruise over Chrsitmas time! Festive jokes galore.
We took the monorail over to the Contemporary resort and had a bite to eat in their quick service dining location (and did some shopping!)
We then took the Disney bus over to Disney Springs for even more shopping and back to the resort at the end of the day to relax.
