Collaboration is often framed as an essential element in current environmental governance. However, the specific advice on exactly what patterns of collaboration, or the networks they create, are beneficial for enhancing governance performance is still developing. Bridget will discuss her doctoral research on social-ecological (SE) fit, with a focus on how patterns of collaboration align with a focal problem. Bridget will explain how she uses network analysis to assess fit and share results from her first case study on flooding in the Wolastoq River.
Bridget McGlynn is a PhD candidate at Queensland University of Technology joining POLIS through an industry engagement internship. She uses network analysis to investigate environmental governance and will be contributing to the wildfire project.
