David Bowie 'Memory of a Free Festival' Single Version Parts 1 and 2 (HQ Remaster)

A faster, rockier remake of the last song on the 'Space Oddity' LP (as requested by Mercury's US division), this version was released as a single in Jan 1970. Unlike the original, this take featured a full band & orchestration including swooping Moogs, Mick Ronson on lead guitar & Tony Visconti on bass/production duties. To allow for radio play, the track was cut in two with the B-side totally devoted to the 'Sun Machine' refrain. Feat. images of Bowie circa 69/70 + 60s psychedelic art.
