Erin & Jeff | Downtown Chicago Wedding Film at South Branch Tavern & Grille

Erin and Jeff had one of the most relaxed and genuinely fun wedding days I’ve filmed. Their celebration took place in downtown Chicago at South Branch, with a wedding party that brought nonstop energy and some of the best speeches I’ve heard in a long time. The whole day felt natural, easy, and very “them”—the kind of wedding where everyone was fully present, and it really shows in the footage.

Their Story
Erin and Jeff met during the pandemic on Hinge, connected instantly over their identical “tear up the dance floor” prompt, and ended up on a freezing first date at George Street Pub where the heaters kept dying—but the conversation didn’t. What followed were long walks along Lake Michigan, traveling, time with friends, moving in near Wrigley, adopting their dog Wally, and eventually a proposal at Diversey Harbor three years to the day from their first date. It only made sense to celebrate in the city where it all started.
