In this video myself and a good friend of mine Darren aka Tent man, park in the lovely village of Patterdale and hike up to Red Tarn via the hole in the wall. After a short stop for water we then tackle a very frozen Swirral Edge which takes us to the top of Helvellyn which is home for the night. The morning brings us stunning sunny but frozen views, we then break camp and hike over to Whiteside and Raise summits before doing a u-turn and making are way back down to Glenridding village for a quick coffee in the local shop.
