Borrowing from Liberace-Clarinet Polka

I don't know if Liberace played this polka or not, but he had a wonderful arrangement of the well-known "Beer Barrel polka," so I thought I'd see if I could incorporate a sort of Liberace style piano part to the "Clarinet Polka," therefore I started practicing up on this one. It appears that the original composer of this polka may not be known with certainty but Polish musician Karol Namyslowski published a copyrighted version in the early 1900s of the melody and it is considered perhaps the most well known of all of the famous Polish Polkas. Interestingly there are a number of different versions, and in different groups that I have played in, we did it in many slightly different versions. Here I decided to play the melody mostly on a piano, that is, using a keyboard to sound like a piano, and then afterwards, I accompanied myself on the Hammond. For the final chorus, I set up the keyboard to sound like a clarinet. It's far more technically difficult than the Beer Barrel Polka, but I figured, let's try and see what it might sound like. One thing about Hammond organs is that they have instantaneous keyboard response, and since Hammond keys operate switch contacts and not any type of major mechanical mechanism like the hammers of a piano or the plectra of a harpsichord, or the valves and reeds of an accordion, it's the ideal instrument for playing something like this. Likewise the keyboard, which is also an electronic instrument with small switch contacts under its keys, is a perfect companion for the challenge of this music.
